Your Child's Day at Your Fingertips

Procare App Communication

KidCare uses the Procare app as our primary method of communication with families. We encourage parents to check the app regularly so you don't miss important updates.

Upon enrollment, the parent will receive a link by email with instructions on how to download and access the Procare app.

Through the app, you can:

  • Receive important announcements and reminders
  • View photos and updates from your child's day
  • Send messages directly to your child's teacher
  • Communicate with our office staff
  • Stay informed about center events and notifications

Policies & Parent Guidelines

Drop-Off Hours

To help provide a consistent classroom routine and minimize disruptions to learning, children should arrive no later than 9:00 AM each day.

  • Children may be dropped off anytime from opening until 9:00 AM.
  • Children arriving after 9:00 AM cannot be admitted for the day unless they have attended a doctor's appointment.
  • Children returning from a doctor's appointment must arrive by 11:00 AM and provide a doctor's note.
  • Once a child has been picked up for the day, they may not return later that same day.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a smooth and productive classroom environment.

Inclement Weather

Any schedule changes will be communicated promptly through the Procare app.

Sick Child Policy

To help keep all children and staff healthy, KidCare follows the health and safety guidelines established by Texas Child Care Regulation and the local Health Department.

A child should not attend or may be sent home if they exhibit any of the following symptoms:

  • Fever of 100°F or higher (under the arm)
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Red, irritated, or discharge-filled eyes
  • Persistent or excessive coughing
  • Any other symptoms that may indicate a contagious illness

Returning to Care
Children may return to the center only after they have been symptom-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing or symptom-relieving medication, unless otherwise directed by a healthcare provider.

If your child becomes ill while at KidCare, a parent or authorized emergency contact will be notified and asked to pick up the child promptly.

Late Pick-Up Policy

Our center closes promptly at 6:30 PM.

If you anticipate being late, please call the center as soon as possible to let us know your estimated arrival time.

Late pick-up fees begin at 6:31 PM and are assessed as follows:

  • $30 late fee
  • Plus $1.00 for each additional minute after 6:30 PM

Late fees help cover the additional staffing costs incurred when employees must remain after closing.

Thank you for helping us ensure our staff can return home to their families on time.
